Dear Josh, Thank you for looking at my blog! I'm excited that you are 13 and like to knit and also a fan of one of my favorite things to do...BROADWAY!!! I went up to NYC over Christmas and got the way cool opportunity to see WICKED!! How awesome was THAT?? I Loved it! I also go to go to Radio City Music Hall to see their wonderful Christmas performance. Again I say Totally Awesome!! We are members of The Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia so every other month we get to see a new play. I too homeschooled. We have 5 kids(they are all married and have kids now) who went to school in Texas but when we moved to NJ it was a different story. So the youngest got to be homeschooled. We both enjoyed the experience together! You asked when something good enough was going to happen to type about. My own personal thought is this...Each Morning we are blessed with a new day...the challenge for you is to FIND the Good things contained in each day and then write about them. I too love to write and I keep a daily journal. I even cut pictures out of magazines to either illustrate a story or poem, or I just cut out cool pictures and stick them on one page and write on the opposite page...with neither relating to the other. So whether it's a poem, or a paragraph long story, using LOTS of descriptive words to make it interesting!!, or a thought or a saying, or something maybe your Mom said that stuck with you,or just describe a beautiful day or the smell of a new rose...those are the GOOD things worth writing about.
